"Hitlis" powervalve system

Fun Police

Recommended Posts

I have plan for my installation and testing afterwards. I set the wheels in motion this weekend. I will report not just my opinion of Hitlis, but I will put data with it. It's a 4.1 mile loop, I would consider it an tough A/B loop in an enduro. I set a baseline this weekend. 2 separate laps, recording: time, avg mph, top speed, avg HR, max HR, and calories. Only difference by the time I get this done, will be ambient temperature. For comparison I did the same 2 loop test with my 22 CRF Red Moto 300. I will also do the same on a mild MX track before installation. I won't bore anyone with data now, I'll post it when complete.

My plan is to install it one night after work.  Once finished I rip up and down the block a few times and if there isn't a connecting rod sticking out the cases

I have a victory beer or 3 and fire up a cheap cigar.

Next day I'll ride it on my super secret single track test track that the quadiots haven't found yet.

If I don't almost flip the bike 2 or 3 times a lap I consider it a success.

I finished the install on the Hitlis kit last night.  I watched every video on Kinger's site as I wanted to really understand what was going on

and the science behind it.   https://productivepowerllc.com/

Everything in the kit was well organized and in a plastic lure box.  The machine work on the parts was first class.

I could see the stock pulleys opened the PVs instantly once a certain rpm was reached.  The Hitlis kit in theory should open progressively.

After warming the bike up I did about 9 or 10 rips up and down my street.  The abrupt hit is gone (hence the product name).

It just has a long, smooth pull.  Not unlike a 4 stroke, but more lively.  The bike also sounds different.

If I can blow off some family obligations this weekend I'll test it in the Jungle.

BTW I thought Tim was just some upstate NY hillbilly with too much time on his hands.  Turns out he's a pretty bright guy.

Definitely seems to mail stuff quick!

Hurry up and ride that thing so I can either justify or reasonably dismiss spending this money I don't really want to spend.

I got a chance to ride on Sunday.  The bike is smoother and was definitely easier to ride in the single track.

I was having so much fun that I ran it out of gas and was happy for the reserve.  Got back to headquarters on fumes.

feel any weaker in terms of peak power?

Can you give a little more detail. If I can make my yz250x feel more like my beta with power delivery I’m totally in for buying this. I just don’t want to lose power like kidwoo mentioned.

I'd say it's smoother but has just as much horse pressure.  A big hit can make you think it has more power when it doesn't.

The abrupt hit will light up the back tire or pull the front wheel in the air.  It also tires you out quicker.

I think the Hitliss puts more power to the ground.

If you compare the Hitliss secondary pulleys to the stockers they open more gradually than the stockers which open all at once.

Wonder how it will perform with a yz250 head.

The engine was designed with the stock YZ250 head and so was the HITLIS. This is what the engine always needed, and remember guys, you can set it up to deliver whatever kind of power you want.

Most of the kits going out are the Woods version (and my preference). If you can never get enough power, or are XXL, or are always in deep sand, etc. then the Desert kit might be more appropriate.

I understand that my testimony is not valid. Soon there will be testimony coming in from all over the world that will be.

Is that when some lady on a horse stares at you like you're doing something wrong?

My mere presence on the trails is doing something wrong according to the horsey people.

A bounce or 2 off the rev limiter fixes them.

Hey guys, for the first time there’s a kit available that’s focused on the operation of the exhaust valves. For me, that is what’s always been missing. It’s called “HITLIS”, and it improves the way all three exhaust valves operate.

The linkage, timing, sequence, and duration, have all been improved to produce a perfectly consistent release of cylinder pressure through the exhaust port over the entire RPM range. Now, the secondary exhaust valves don't just pop open and snap shut anymore.

Also, removing the spring resistance inside the PV box gives the governor total control of the engine. It can be directly adjusted to provide the exact power output that you desire, be it faster or slower. Now the linear nature of the governor can be felt during both acceleration and deceleration.

It takes the engine to a whole new level of effectiveness. It's all the same instruments, they're just playing a new tune, and you can set the tempo. My focus was Northeast woods racing, but the beauty of this kit is being realized in all the environments this great bike is exposed to. For me, it makes a much more enjoyable, controllable, safer ride and I ended up faster and less fatigued.

The finished product is a highly refined and patented kit that has been thoroughly developed and tested. Priority shipping in the US has been very fast. Priority international has also been very fast and is now available to over 50 countries.

I'm sure it's not for everyone but I'm confident most of you will love it. If you're looking to make your bike smoother, more tractable, faster or slower, you should definitely check this out!
