Code reader for 2016 KTM 350SXF

Recommended Posts

If there is a white/clear 6 pin plug under the seat (usually somewhere by the ECU) that has nothing plugged into it, then yes.

Google KTM OBD2 Adaptor.  That will get you a cable that will allow you to read the codes with many off the shelf OBD2 code readers.

Or, just get a manual and when a code pops up, count the flashes from the light on the triple clamp and look up the error in the book.

Question!!!

When I'm riding around on my 2016 350SXF I can't just put around at low speed, it's like I have to be rolling along at a decent speed, if I let off it feels like its going to stall out, so I give more throttle and its quite snappy, I'm not sure if this would be the right term, but I want to say it's choppy!

Is this just me, or is this actually an issue?

Stop using the bike for a play bike! Get it out on a race track as it was tuned for.

As mentioned above, it's a race bike, and although you can just cruise around, you may have to deal the injector cutting off and on abruptly.

Both my 17 (310 hours) and 21 (80 hours) do that when cruising back to the pits after practice or a race.
