V force vs stock

I have a v-force reed cage that came on my 05 yz250 and I got a new set of pedals and all I had was problems with them so I figured I would go back to the stock reed cage. Does anyone have some insight on which is best to keep

I found it takes a lot of fine tuning to make bike run well with vforce.. I ended up throwing my stock cage back in and it ran crisp again. A lot of people have good results with vforce through. Try the stock cage and see how it performs maybe you'll like it better

We have tried them on stock engines as well as modded engines and haven't been overly impressed.  Current OEM yamaha reeds are supposed to be some good stuff these days.

I did not like my yz125 that came with v-force. It only gave me problems. Your best bet is to get some boyesen super stocks for your Reed cage. Cheap and reliable.

the stock reed cage and oem pedals are phenomenal can't complain one bit
