tryin to sell my bike but there are known in my area to get an acurate price.. so just wonderin what was reasonable. its a 05 450X that is basicly new. total bike has less than 30 hours and looks brand new, not one flaw ANYWHERE, onlything aftermarket is bars and barkbusters. im in Alabama..

Totally depends on your area. Norther Idaho 4k to 4500 southern Idaho (Northern Utah) 3k to 3500. Good Luck. If you were a hell of a lot closer I'd be really interested in it.

I LIVE on CL lol and its only like 300$ to ship a bike so if your really interested... lemme know. and i actually picked the bike up today and its newer/nicer than i thought. has original: tires ( plenty of tread left) breaks, chains/sprockets ( look brand new and its oring) and grips. this thing is amazing. i rode it today and its soooo sweet. and the head light is brighter than most cars!

so if anyone is interested ill ship it to you no problamo.

You buying this or selling it? Picked it up from where? Sounds like it's the first time you rode it with bright headlight and all. It has 30 hrs, no, wait your latest post says less than 20 hours.

just bought it, Tenn. and ive never had a bike with a headlight and all my buddies have lights and some ride X's and this one is brighter.. and its not a CL add... i just cant beleive the condition its in.. ive owned 6 bikes in the last 5 months and many before that and this is the nicest one. its just crazy how some people can buy a bike and ride it only a few times and let it sit. i put 12 hours on mine every weekend, sometimes more.I love to ride!

i bought an 05 last year for $2k. it needed a fork seal and a little bit of TLC.

You're right, manx. 3,000 hours is probably close on my '05. However, it's had the cases split a couple of times and has all the trick innards as well as about everything else externally that "could" become a problem. I think 3K is a steal on this bike....But it's not really for sale. It rocks! I wish I would have been on it today instead of the 450R. The R is a GREAT bike but not an X.

$3000 too low for a mint bike. Where I live they retail for $9000.00 new, so why let it go for peanuts unless your broke. Any decent used dirtbike goes for $5000.00 here in BC Canada. If someone wanted less I would check the hotsheet or try and find out if the motors blown up.

I paid $3250 for my 06' X with less than 50 hours. It was a little scuffed up but other than that she is perfecto! That was in the Oregon Valley.

You are all crazy!! I live in Alabama and i bought my 05 450X for $1800. It's not mint but it looks good and has FMF exhaust. It doesn't matter how many hours are on it, it's still on 05. You may be able to sell it for $2500. and that's only if you find someone who's looking for that exact same bike. I could spend $300 and 4 hours and have mine looking brand new. There's really no way for a buyer to tell how many hours are on it unless yours came with a hour meter. put it up on Craigslist or JMRpowersports for $2800 and see what happens.
