Dunlop Sportmax Mutant

Hi, Has anyone tried the Dunlop Sportmax Mutant tires yet? I live in Northern Ireland where we get more wet days than dry ones. I ride a 2003 Husqvarna SMR570. I currently have a Pirelli Dragon Supercorsa front and a Bridgestone Battlax BT92R rear and they are a disaster in the wet.

I'd like to but I don't think we can get those in the US.

try the michelin pilot road 2's they are a 2 compound tire like the pilot power 2ct, but they have 40% shoulder tread(instead of a mere 10% on the pp 2ct) and they have the best wet grip of any sport tire

What I like about the Mutant is how well they do in the dirt. I have a Pilot Race on my bike now and its not something I want to hit the dirt with.

from what i have read most either ONLY choose the mutants or xtreme rain race tyre by avon. theres one other tyre out there that is a full race spec rain tyre that i have read about but ill try and find a link. even though there race spec rubber they should last a season or so no problem

If you're not looking for a full-on race tire and just want a good sport tire, try a Conti Road Attack or Sport Attack. They are both excellent in wet and dry conditions. The Road Attack offers good mileage, too.
