Pit bikes for Big person???

any ideas and what model and mods will be good for a person who is 6'4" and 240lbs. Ive been looking and cant decide. Ive looked at Yamaha and their kits, BBR, etc. Something that is reasonable.

I'm 6'4" and have to stay with the Mid-size bikes. The CRF50 based bikes are to cramped for me.

Bottom line, buy a quality bike that is supported by a good shop. Alot of the better dealers sell multiple product lines and aren't going to mislead you. These guys make their livings on their reputations.

although I havent riden it yet. The ssr tx 150 is a great bike. A mid size bike with a 12 14 wheel set up with a monster 150cc motor. Its basicly a klx 110 without the funny forword facing intake and carb set up.

You should have seen the McBride Sports Guy flying through the woops on his stock Pitster Pro X4 150cc at the final round of the Masters of MINI!!!! He was at least 6'4, 250lbs and fast as HELL!!!!

No, they come set up almost perfect for that weight. That is after you put some decent fork oil in them.

they are set up for adults but the fork oil sucks as stated above. good oil set to the proper level makes a big difference.

Can never go wrong with a Honda. Then get a ishock and bar kit. Should be pretty comfortable then.

..yeah..but for how long ..a day or two...? ..no serious ..get a pitster or motovert midsize with decend suspension on it !!

The other thing about buying a Honda is it will really take some motor work to have much pep hauling around a big guy.

Im around 6'2 120 lbs. I didnt know they made pitbikes in different sizes so when I was looking at those Pitsters I was so happy. I have to use a bigger bmx bike so I assume I ned a bigger pitbike.

The X4 or X4R will suite you fine for your height, but you may need the lighter 800# rear spring for your weight.
