Hole in the pipe.

There is a hole in my friends CR250 pipe, it is about 1/8 inch in diameter.

What could happen if he rides it with the hole and is it bad?

wont hurt anything if it is that small... i have a leak in my pipe as well its probably just the sealing though... no big deal but it does cause a mess sometimes.

It shouldn't hurt, but the whole will cause a loss in power depending how big it is. I can't tell you how much loss you will get or if it will be noticable with 1/8" size whole. If you cant afford a new pipe maybe you can get it repaired for less. I wonder if JB weld would work since it is so small.

Dont Use A Jb Weld, Just Go Down To A Machine Shop Or An Exhaust Shop And Have Them Weld A Cover Plate Over The Hole Probally Cost You 15 Bucks...........that Hole Will Loose Performance

You need to fix the hole. It will rob power and cause the bike to run lean, which puts increased heat through the pipe (especially around the hole) and ruin the pipe in short order.

^ Im not sure if that is anything to freak out about. I would say just patch it and dont worry tho. might not be over 5 dollars to fix
