Nissin caliper identification

Recommended Posts

A previous owner changed the oem caliper on my 2009 WR250X.

Yamaha tried 3 times, based on the part numbers their system gave them.

Oem brake pad is 8mm shorter and 2mm wider. When comparing the used EBC, with the new EBC.

Is there a chart available somewhere that I am not finding?

Here's an EBC pdf list for all their brake pads. Your FA185's shown in there are posted as 94 x 34 x 7. So taking the measurement differential, you'll have to search through the other pads and find a 102 x 36 x 7 (?) in the correct configuration based on accurate measurements taken off your existing pads.

Thanks for that,  but I just got back from a shop a little further away.

They had the EBC catalog. It contains actual size outline/shadow drawing that you can match the brake pad in question.

Wolla!  It's a caliber from a cbr600.

Hopefully this post helps others in the future
