CRF250F - Bruces Suspension vs Tuscany Fork Internals Upgrade

I’m wondering what exactly the difference is between what Bruce does to the forks and what the Tuscany upgrade does. What are the benefits of one vs the other? Has anyone been able to compare the 2? Any preference towards one vs the other?

I would recommend to compare the cost of each as well as how long to receive components, first, then decide what is the best for you.

My two cents only much respect for Bruce.  He improves a fork 230/250f  for cheap.  Except  there is only so much he can do. As both forks are not as good as 1986 xr250. I did have 230 with Triplet fork mods . Also one rider with us has a 21 crf250f.  Triplet fork mods hagen rear shock . Much testing answer save your money bad . Ditch forks Tuscany rear shock long travel . I don't have one except riders report good . Mine is long travel xr350 rear shock 11in travel xr400 fork up front .

I've had both, Triplett on the 230F and Tuscany on the 250F.  Both improve the front suspension.  The Tuscany option is about 2X the cost though.  For me,  I prefer the Tuscany cartridges.  Hyperlite Moto carries a lot of Brazilian moto parts but unfortunately no stock from Tuscany.

I figured if I end up getting the tuscany rear shock getting the cartriges shouldn’t cost too much more in shipping. Did you have to upgrade fork springs as well? Doesn’t look like the carts come with springs

No I just ordered the cartridges, I have OEM springs.  The only trick to the cartridge installation is getting all of the captive air out.  Pop open the forks again after some ride time to make sure your oil level height is correct.  I weigh about 76kg and carry about 6kg of tools with me.  (For the metric challenged that is roughly 180 lbs.).  Triplett is a straight up guy, I just wanted more performance after the 230F fork damper mod.

It is the shipping cost from Brazil that sucks.  It would be nice if Hyperlite Moto picked up the Tuscany product line but so far they have not had interest.
