This is NOT just a AF conversion.

Its a 4stroke CRf engine converted to 2stroke.

And a 2 stroke with Traction control, lanch control and more.

IMO the most electronically advanced 2stroke ive seen to date.

This is quite a bit different. They are both Honda CR5 based so there is that.

I did. I cannot imagine who would buy the bike to race. Not a lot of events it would be allowed. Same reason the SH AF500 never really sold a lot. But as a desert runner, it would be a blast for a guy with money to burn.

It is a CR500 top end on custom made cases, not 4S cases modded to work. Not a 4S engine at all. Nice they did FI and E start.

Any AF conversion is special. Any conversion is special. The real testimony is...does it sell? 'One off's, proof of concept means very little except to the guy that ends up with it on display.

Their costumer are probably older vet guys with money , that will never ride this bike hard or in a race.

But i think its a awsome build and if i I had the money i would buy it.

Probably. Looks very well executed. Like so many machines like this, what really matters is relatively unbiased feedback about how successful the build is. Is it durable? Handling good?

My days of collecting bikes are over. Too much maintenance. I wish I could afford to have a guy in the garage taking care of my stuff!

Looks like he makes his own version of cr500  motor, head, cyl, crankcase, using a lot of original crf components gears, clutch, electrical system.

More power to the breed.

I feel like something is getting missed in the translation on the website. If it’s 11k for the complete engine kit, how do you get a bike for 4k more?

I thought the same, but is around $16k USD, for a complete. They probably recoup some money from the 4t parts. The engine kit with transmission isn't cheap, but they know this. Some may have a bike core they don't want tompart with and that is all parts going out rhe door. (All guess work by me) I am kinda hot for this bike, to me it is almost a bargain and better yet not based on KTM.
