My new 2022 TSP Mod KTM 300XC

I wanted to share a photo and a link to my first ride on my new 2022 KTM 300XC. I'm a die hard 50 year old vet moto guy who's has started racing few hare scambles here in Florida recently, so I decided to buy a dedicated woods bike. I have only ever rode this bike on the motocross track twice so far and let me tell you it blew my mind in so many ways. Current mods include an FMF fatty and silencer and the TSP medium head and flashed ECU from South Bay Performance. The rest of the bike is stock. I'm weighing in a 225 lbs and need some suspension recommendations on air and clickers for the forks and rear spring rate. Thanks guys, check out my YouTube link for my first ride impressions video. Also, one other thing, there is very little content online for these specific bikes. Are they just not as popular as the XC-W?

Congrats on a nice bike. That looks like Motobros(?). Im in Palm Beach County. I ride a 2017 350XC and a 2020 300XC these days. I ride almost exclusively on a lease in PSL. Are you racing the benefit in Bartow this month?

You need different springs and a valving tweak, they are setup for about 165lb riders.
Just tell the suspension shop how you want to ride it. I ride all technical stuff, so I want the
ride to be soft and cushy. But since you race, you will want more dampening.

At 225lbs it's a must for a revalve and sprung for your weight and riding. A step up is Lanier shock compressor body, bladder, low friction bands and KYB piston. Front I prefer traditional CC springs and you can't beat KYB swap but the Lucky's (OC carts) are less $$. This set-up will give you best of both worlds, MX and woods.

Heyyy yeah actually I am racing that Bartow race. I have done a few FTR events and I plan on doing this one too. Are you?
