HELP! Pro Circuit Silencer Not Mounting correctly!

Recommended Posts

Hi guys! This is my first time using these forums so this might be sloppy; However, hopefully you guys can help me. I just recently purchased a pro circuit R-304 shorty exhaust from rocky mountain for my 2020 Kx85. Then installation was going smoothly, everything was on right got it into the slip on then things took a turn for the worst. You see I could bolt it down to one of the mounts just fine however the second mount wouldn't be aligned. I tried doing the other one first; However this time, the other mount was unaligned. So basically, I can align one of the mounts; However, the other mount will be unaligned. I loosened my pipe's mounting bolt so I would get some play and maybe it would help me align it; However, No luck. I made sure I installed everything correctly and I just am clueless why this is not working. This is my first time installing a new exhaust so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong.

Is it possible I'm just the most unlucky person in the world and my exhaust is defective? I want to just wing it and send it with it only on 1 bolt; However, I'm afraid something will go wrong. If you guys can help me that would be great :).

I attached a image of what the situation looks like.
