Did you get the tab on the spring collar aligned properly when you put the slide back in? Shown as "a" to "b" in diagram. Also, have the small end of the spring in the collar?

Ok so the little plastic piece on the spring has a grove that goes to the metal part over the needle? I didn’t realize that

Alright, Thanks. Before, I flipped the spring and put the plastic piece on the other side to see if it would changed. It didn't, so I'll try next time.

Do you know anything about jetting? I'm running a 175 main at sea level right now with a full Pro circuit pipe. On pro circuit's website the main jet is one smaller than stock. Is it supposed to be leaner with a pipe?

Getting the collar back in correctly should get rid of your binding.

Kinger's jetting setup should get you real close and I'm mostly running it. 175 main, 45 pilot, and 40 power in all three of our 250's. Running the NC3W-3 in the 2016 250X and 2000 250 and N3EJ in the 2001 YZ250. I just picked up another N3EJ for the 2000 because I like it a little better in our hot weather. The 2000 has a Pro Circuit platinum pipe with a FMF shorty silencer. The 2000 just got put back together and it did have a JD needle (not sure which one) in it previously and it always ran awesome and never fouled a plug so I may try that in it again.
