Malaguti

Hey Guys,

First of all I'm new to the forum so thank you for taking the time to read my post. I just bought a 2002 50cc malaguti grizzly and I'm finding it hard to find a fly wheel for it. Basically if anyone had any info on where I could get a flywheel and stator or if another brand would fit it would be fantastic .

Quick Google search showed a performance parts site. Never heard of malaguti, Chinese? European?

Thanks I saw that alright however they don't stock flywheels and it's an Italian brand would you believe

Never heard of it so I didn't know. Short of calling a dealer to order one I'm not sure where to find one. Never seen the brand listed on sites like motorsport, rmatv, partzilla, ECT. Try eBay?

Cobra and polini are also similar Italian made minis. Wouldn't surprise me if many shared parts. I think many of the older ones use Morini Franco motors (as well as older ktm 50sx). If yours does too, parts will be very easy to source.

After a Lil research it looks like your right they share parts with the morini which is actually a s6 engine but in the malaguti team .Fantastic looks like parts will be easily sourced after all. Everyone's help is much appreciated thanks again.

Completely forgot to mention, if you haven't found it, there is a peewee forum far more geared towards those boutique 50cc mx bikes. It's in special interest a few spaces below pit bikes.
