Arc brake lever

Recommended Posts

Just checking if anyone here has ever installed this kind of arc brake lever on their older cr250's. I'm trying to put this on a 2002 cr250 and according to their website this is the match to my bike. The problem is that the oem has a small spring that site inside the master cylinder and also there is a small hole drilled into the oem brake lever that hold the other end of that spring which allows the rebound tension . These arc levers do not have that cut out for the spring.I have tried communicating this with the company and good luck trying to get a hold of them . All you ever get is a answering machine n response back. In my opinion they have great product but horrible customer service. By the way the model lever is a BR-501

I'm still searching for a answer to this problem. I can't believe how impossible it is reach a single person at arc levers . You can't leave a voice mail because apparently they're voicelmailbox is full. I'm almost to the point where I'm going to just purchase from another manufacturer.

Yes I think I'm going to have to do that. What the heck is up with this company they seriously have 0% customer service. I guess they are to busy accommodating the pro riders and forgot bout us the general cosumer. No lie I have called them ten times sent a message on their site many days ago still no response.I'm just about ready to purchase a whole new brake lever from a competitor. It's to bad because I had there clutch lever n brake lever on my 07 crf450 and loved them they were. Held up very well on a good crash or two. No hassle with the levers for that make and year they bolted right up .

I returned it back to the store. When I installed it the lever just flicked back n forth with no tension to go back into place . Just like a clutch lever would with no cable attached. I was actually thinking of drilling a hole in the lever but thought about it and said I really shouldn't have to do this to a new accessorie that was made to bolt right up that costs 65.00. Any thoughts on another good brake lever comparable in quality to an arc lever . I don't have the desire to give them any of my business anymore. Not much of a fan of works connection,
