Cbr 600 f4i?

Recommended Posts

Going to get this bike Sunday. Would like some second opinions before pulling the trigger. 06 model, 92 miles. Yes, 92 miles. Old man bought it new, laid it over, scared him. Only damage is these 2 scratches that will be shown in the pictures. Been sitting in a garage since. I'm well aware it will need injectors cleaned. A fuel pump was just put on it. Judging from the pictures, it seems like he's telling the truth. What do you guys think? I'm paying 2700. Be was asking 3000.

Check the inside of fuel tank, if there is rust.. DO NOT try to start the bike.

Fuel pump, fuel regulator and fuel injectors may need replacement if you run the bike with old fuel mixed with rust particles.

Clean out the fuel tank immediately, check if rust spots inside, may need reseal with Kreem

Well I bought the bike Saturday. Tank was filled with rust. Currently have it off the bike sanding the inside of the tank. Have kreem on the way. It is obvious that the bike was never used.. Still has the nipples on the tires. I'm very pleased with it.

Might as well replace the Fuel Pressure Regulator valve while you have the tank off the bike.. hope those fuel injectors are still in decent shape.. Front fender is missing? &%$#@!?

If tires are OEM, they are probably 8-9 years old.. I wouldn't push my luck riding aggressive with them.

The front fender cracked when it was laid down. I have it. Replacing all that stuff. But it's legitimately the nicest bike around.. Every other guy wants 4k for an older, roached out bike. And tires are definitely getting replaced
