Yes it is flush with the motor, that's just how it is. Can't go up any farther.

Whatever you do don't add too long of a bolt. You'll run the risk of popping through the case to the inside of the motor and then have a few more holes to drain oil lol. I bought an 06 110 and found out that the previous owner did that so when I went to take the footpeg mount off oil spilled all over the floor. Ended up having to split the cases to plug the holes. That gave me the opportunity to add new transmission bearings and upgrade to a 4 speed shift drum though

Do it once, so it right. Buy the cradle, they usually come with longer bolts, if not buy them. Use a thread lock on all the bolts so they won't wiggle loose, unfortunately the will over Time, they do on mine.

Just buy the cradle fro Tbolt, they do the job. Heavy as hell but I have scraped and flipped the bike with no ill effects.

Not to thread jack, but Im probably going to order the cradle for mine as well, but I want bigger pegs and over the top rear brake lever, anyone have recommendations as to what will work with the cradle? And I see skid plates as well that I would like to add, is there any that work best with the cradle mount as well?

Any aftermarket mount will work with the cradle
