How to find true year of kx 125?

Hy I want to buy kx125, I had crf450r7 beafore, and I found 125 and guy says that bike is 2008 but its look like 2003. Why I think that is 2003? Beacause he have light silver bottle for shock and specific sticker KX125 ond rear fork.

Get the Vin #. Looks like an 03 to me. 03 was a one off year, no parts will fit from other years. Bike looks clean but I'd get a 99-02 or 04 or newer if it were me.

The one your looking at does appear to be much closer to an '03 than an '08.

Visual difference in an '03 vs '04 is the '04+ has the bolt going through the swingarm similar to how yamaha had thiers, the mid pipe mount was moved to the top side up by the front under the gas tank. The '03 has it by the subframe mount and on the 04+ there's also the newer CR style fork gaurds and front brake hose routing and the tripple clamps where different also but I can tell from that pic that bike is definetly an '03 model.

Also I don't believe the 08 frames had the 4 bumps by the ankle, and the 03 did.

Yep, it is 2003.

2006_ is brown shock and clamps, wave rotors

First, usually just a frame number on a European model, I belive, no VIN.
