Jesus. I'd say something negative if I was more suprised, but I'm not.

I was talking to a buddy last week about Stewart. We were talking about motocross and supercross history, and the previous champs. My thought on Stewart is like this.

If you took the components of a supercross champ and divided them into three parts, you'd have:

Heart----------------Smarts----------------Talent

Obviously, it takes all three to win championships.

At the left end of the spectrum, you have guys like Guy Cooper. He was a 125 champ, and probably had more heart than he did talent. He made up for having less talent by having alot of heart, working very hard and trying to ride smart. His scale leans to the left.

In the middle, you have guys like Jeff Stanton. He didn't have the talent of a guy like Bayle or McGrath in my humble opinion, but had heart, toughness, and a alot of talent. His titles speak for themself. His scale is very balanced.

Stewart has lots of talent, but not much in the way of smarts. I can't speak for his heart, but he isn't showing much in the way of smarts to me. He is very talented, no doubt. This year he is a really frustrating guy to watch, not just because of his mistakes, but because of what they are doing to other riders. His scale leans WAY to the right.

Way to many racing incidents not to say Bubba is just out of control. Yes he is fast, extremely talented and awesome to watch but man what a string of crashes.

I honestly thought he had it figured out at the beginning of the year he seemed to have matured and had his shit together for a run at the championship. Now he is just a disaster on and off the track it seems.

I agree. When I heard that he was working with the O Show, and how he seemed fine to ride smart and just finish in the top three at the beginning of the season, I was thinking, "He's going to win the title this year."

Now, it seems like he has some kind of an issue just about every week. Some seem like just dumb riding or not being aware, some are not his fault. But, when they come in bunches like they have been, you gotta wonder at the very least.

My thoughts? Those are photoshopped. Each rider had their own issues that were captured on film in that area, but they weren't at the same time. But put the pictures together and it looks like JS lost control and Reed got the receiving end of it. I could be wrong, but they just look fake to me. I'll be surprised if we actually see this happen on TV just like it played out in those pics.

McGrath was said to be the best at Nac-nacs, but not even the King himself would try such a death defying stunt mid-corner.

pretty sure they are real...... the were posted over on vital a while ago. if photoshopped, that was a hell of a good job in record time. there is also another thread on vital from a different angle and it looks the same just with lesser quality pics.

Pin it! You got that right. Not at any point in those photo's did you see JS get "off" the gas until he hit CR and then the ground. Maybe that is what JS needs a lesson in throttle control, and a few less trips in to other bikes and the ground.
