Hello everyone I am trying to figure out what the two brass colored carb tubes attach to. Not the little ones at the bottom the ones mid way on the carb. One is by the fuel pipe the other is in the middle. I can't find a pic anywhere of what it connects to. I thought they went together but am not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All to often many riders are faced with the wife/girl friend taking the point and sayin'" It's time to sell that motor bike" I am grateful that my Army wife of 28 years knows that I love her more than my Yamaha XT 250, and has not rolled that idea out there.

Hello everyone, new to this group. I recently, after a lot of reading, replaced the primary jet with a makuni 37.5. The bike starts great every time but runs real rough now through the primary range( about first 30-35% of throttle). any ideas on improving upon this solution to the cold start saga for the xt 250? Blake

Hi all, I have a 1980's Xt250 which I am currently restoring (with a slight twist)... I have been looking for a long time for a rear Gold wheel for it as I have managed to find a front one, and am struggling they are usually in pretty bad shape due to age... I have found someone breaking a 2002 Xt600 tenere , with a really nice set of Gold rims... My questions are these... Does anyone know whether the rear wheel will fit?? Looks the same and is the same size (diam)... Also does anyone know the dimensions of the forks on the 600 (stanchon diam, and length axle to top)?? As I'm considering a front end upgrade might be possible?? Giving me a disc break and a matching set of wheels =) Any help would be really appreciated, as I'm over this wheel search now =P Thanks in advance Keiran ;-);-)

My little grandpa put put bike. Hated the stock black front fender, so seen this model in 2012 had a white fender, added the OE white fender, way nicer. I added the skid plate, tail rack, roto pax 1 gallon fuel can, Wolfman tail bag, Wolfman tank bag, Ricochet skid plate, Kenda dual sport front and rear tires with HD tubes. Bike is otherwise all stock. -
