Pulled the mill to do some maintanance for next season, new piston, timing chain, valve seals,

Lubed swingarm bearings, linkage, serviced forks and shock

I didn't do this today, but within the past week. New top end going in after 70 hours of MX use - waiting on new head bolts (cam chain only has 12 hours on it), & a new decal kit :

pulled the carbs last night for the first time on this bike. dialed in the jetting because she was popping and running lean.

i gotta see this YZ that has more than one carb! lol.

yes....it has 4 carbs......and a turbo with nitrous....LOL

Gave it a bath after yesterdays ride. Lubed and adjusted the chain while it was clean. Nothing exciting.

I just ordered a pro circuit hotstart screw....the stock plastic one is a huge POS !

I wouldn't say so...

I put one of those billet ones on my carb, after a lack of maintaining my hot start I went to take it off and it was seized on(plastic wont do that) and it cracked the outside of the carb where of screws in rendering the carb useless. Not fun on the day before a race! I would use a little bit of anti-seize on it and check it every other month...TRUST ME!

seven bikes last sat. Plenty of ice, 8in.,and we wore it out LOL

May go north as the sturbridge races got canceled. Had to get the pipe welded as it broke near the head and started to pop. Them ti pipes aint cheep !

Last weekend I put on a new(to me) rear master cylinder and front and rear Galfer brake lines along with a 270mm oversized front brake rotor from Rocky Mountain. It's the Tusk one...a steal at $119!

Received my custom 98mm head gasket from Cosmetic and finally put the motor back together and it in the frame I going to try to finished up the bike this weekend and get it running.

My 426 is now a 453 ported head with a WR transmission.

But will Murphies law raise it ugly heads as it normal.

      Hey guys I was wondering what bike I should get I havnt rode since I was in 7th grade but I had a kx 85 so I was experienced with riding I could pin the bike on tracks so I'm not completely new to riding now I'm 6,2 190 I was contemplating what bike to get, should I go with a yz 125 or should I go with a yzf450, I would never sell the 450 prob have it forever thank you tell me your opinions plz!!

      I'm finally getting the chance to go to the dunes in Oregon and cant decide weather I should run a 8 or 10 paddle tire on the back of my 81 YZ465 2stroke. Suggestions? Pros and cons for each? Thanks!

      I understand that I'm going to sound like a complete rookie on this one. How do you tell if you have an aftermarket kit done to the front forks? I just recently pickup up an 05 yz450f and on one of the forks it has a (1) fast lap racing suspension sticker on 1 of the forks. The guy appeared to go alittle sticker happy with this thing before I got it. Runs good and the front end feels great but I've never had anything aftermarket suspension done to any of my other bikes. Any tell tale signs aside from the feel? Thanks.

      Hey all, let me get right to the point, basically for the past couple years I've had this bike, it hasn't been running right. It tends to start well, and has a decent amount of power for a 200+ lb kid on it, but once I attempt to hit the top of the power band, it tends to cough and sputter like it's choking. When I recently checked to carb to jet it, I realized ALL but one of the Jets are missing. I've checked the reed valves, they seem to be in great shape... However, today (it is a warm day) it ran great for a while, after topping off the oil and running with the choke half on, this bike also leaks oil, but I'm almost convinced that this is a jetting issue (being that they're missing)  at this point, but I've also never put a top end in this bike. Thanks for any help, I'd just like to get an opinion on what you guys think.   I know I'm all over the place btw, sorry for that
