Gap between Rear brake pedal and frame?

5 posts in this topic

I have a gap between the Rear brake pedal and frame on my 06 yz 250. The head of the bolt sticks out some. Is there supposed to be a washer or spacer to take up the space?

Thanks

Have you tried to screw the bolt all the way in? There is no washer or spacer, just screw it in snug.

Yeah, The bolt is as far as it can go. There is still a gap. Could the pedal be wore out where it contacts the frame?

They leave some play in this area..why? Who knows? Maybe since the joint gets dirty. I shimmed mine with a suspension washer, but it did nothing.

Go look at anew street bike, pick a zx10, and see how muchc play it has in the shift lever and brake pedal...it must be no big deal.
