What do you think of these WR's?

They all seem a little high to me. I just purchased a 2008 with 14 hours, lots of extras, and in like new condition for $3400. Looked at several others around the same price, this one was the cleanest.

Number 2 and 4 are good choices. WR's and CRF-X's bring top dollar in Utah and Colorado.

Tthose are both fairly priced, even cheap. I wouldn't consider the old steel frame style.

Why? Makes working on the carb like 10x easier...

Not really, I have owned an 01,05,07,and currently 08. I can have the carb in my hands in about 5 min. True you can't swing the carb and work on it on the bike but it is easier to work on out of the bike.

Do you have a method that you use to get it out easily.

I follow the instructions posted on this site. Search on 07-09 carb removal for exact directions. Briefly- remove shrouds, remove seat, remove shock, lift subframe up out of way, unplug TPS, remove carb. Short and sweet version. Seems like a lot but once you have done it, it is simple.

I think that's a fair value. But more importantly, what do you think? It's your money, not mine.

I paid $4200 for my brand new (old stock) 08 in Feb of 2012.

$2000 later, it's exactly what I want.

Seller said his best offer is 3500. Is that a good deal or still a little high for this bike?:

A little high, but its close. I wouldn't let a couple hundred dollars come between me and a bike that I want.
