looking for wr 400 mods to lighten up.

3 posts in this topic

What are some mods I can do to my 2000 wr400 to make it lighter and more user friendly at slower slower speeds as a learn to become a better rider? This is my first true trail bike. Last bike was an XT225.

When I lowered my bike by 1-1/2 " it felt worlds lighter and was much more freindly on the trails. This was done by a suspension shop and not the quick fix. Good work. :)

I have looked into this at BBR motorsports they were going to charge $250 does that sound resonable? What was your primary reason for lowering? Mine is that I a a shorter rider and have times finding a place to put my foot down. Did it help with handling as well?
