2011yz450 shock removal ...... Easy ?

So looking to remove rear shock to send out, never done this before, looks pretty basic, yet, am wondering when it says remove silencer first ( never done that before either ) is taking that half of the pipe off ass easy as removing the bolts ? Theres no weld or anything is there?

Nope, simple as it looks. No welds, just remove a few bolts and its out.
