BTW you (and this forum) have been a ton of help over the last month getting my bike back to riding condition! You have answered many questions for me not all directly but in other post's from other riders post(problems)

The Rekluse for the WR450 and '03-'04 YZ450 will fit the 426, you just need to follow the 426 instructions. I do not know if it will fit the 400, as I don't know enough about the basket differences. I think that the 450 Rekluse came with both 426 and 450 instructions, but it was pretty simple to install on the 426. I know, probably not much help. I will say that customer service was top notch when I was researching my 426, so they should be able to help with the 400.

Shuey1, have you called them yet? if so what did you fine out? I have a 1999 YZ400f. I would like to have one too.
