Just a quick question...should I have my clearence on the fire side or the loose side of specs??? A guy told me that on the loose side of specs it will start easier but I don't no if that is true or not....thanks for any insight...08 yz450.

If you have a choice, set toward the tight side of the spec. This is how Yamaha builds them, and it's easier on the valve train.

i meant tite...sorry.....and thank you gray....the last time i checked and changed it i made it on the tite side of specs because thats what i thought it should be..makes more since to me to e tite rather than loose...but thank you for the reply and that is how i will continue to do it and keep it..thanks again...
