Anyone have info on the quality of the OEMSTD kehin "duplicate" sold on ebay for the 99 and 2000 CR250? Quality, junk, etc? Thanks.

Yep, but $75 higher. Nope

This one comes jetted and with extra jets. Already have a jetting set-up then get what you need. They will work with you on a drop in kit.

PJ doesn't perform similiarly?

Have you dealt with both? i prefer the pwk way more. Both perform well, just the pwk I feel is less finicky and easier to adjust.

I wasn't saying anything about how the PJ carb performs. It is just a decieving add because the 99-00 CR250 came with a pwk carb and not a pj. there are things I like about the PWK better then the PJ though. It seems to idle cleaner with the PWK on my 94 cr125(144). I like seperate idle/choke knob on the PWK too, but I wouldn't say that the PWK is completely superior to the PJ, they both work well.

So what years did Honda outfit the CR250 with a PJ?

SO, re the original post---any TT'er tried these "OEMstd" china "PWK Clone" carbs or not?

This china company makes a lot of clone models, and the ones for the XR/XL Honda 's have had good reviews on dualsport websites...I am skeered to try one myself, tho I do have a $$$ midsize 'Pitster' mx bike that has an excellent Keihin-clone on it, so...also "read" that this is where the real Mik's and Keihins are made anyway. My TMX has enuff slag/casting crud on it to break off and sell for scrap metal...only the guts/inside is finished/quality looking...
