WR450 and the James Now

I was thinking about getting the Power Now and have read quite a bit of commentary on the good and bad results. I found the James Now version and was able to download the PDF to take a look at the construction of it. Now it says that this has been done on a 426 and 250, but has anyone done it to a 03 WR450? Unless I am understanding the hookup of the device wrong, (it goes on the airbox side of the carb right?), then mine doesn't appear to have the rubber boot to do the modification to. Please clarify and give me any hints to a solution. Thanks Damon :)
