2005/6/7 YZ for 2007 WR.

You have to change the Caliper, Axle, and Front wheel to make the 2008 YZ forks work.

You can't make custom spacers/bushings for the wheel? The KDX guys have perfected fork swaps...

Check out this thread. This guy did it. It's a good thread with pics of the conversion. It isn't just a simple swap though, but can be done with a bit of inginuity.

Yeah, I'm sure it's fine if you take your time, and test fit and re-fit, etc.

I just would prefer an OEM solution.

All the forks on ebay are about the same price: 250 - 350 for average condition without pits or broken lugs, and 350-450 for a pristine set.

The YZ125/250/450 on certain years have SSS forks and other years have the AOS forks, that are a direct fit to the WR.

I am learning that you can tell if it is the correct YZ fork by the top of the fork (recessed clicker) if its a cartridge fork (AOS or SSS) and if it's the right year by the size of the Caliper bracket (large). You want the larger bracket and the recessed clickers. Apparently you can only tell if it's an SSS system by the year and model of bike it came from, as the markings on the lugs are the same.

They are in excellent shape, but the seals will need replacing.
