How many hours running time 450 yzf.

How many hours you been riding 2010-2011 450yzf? One guy told me he got nearly 100h really no big problems. For me its sounds lot hours for bike.

Theres been plenty of reports on here with 100+ with no issues and I expect the same from mine! I'm only at about 50. I replaced the cam chain for cheap insurance and will put a frest piston in at 100 but haven't had any and don't expect any problems until then or after then for a long time.

I have 55.6 hours on mine and have done nothing. Still runs strong

dunno about the new bikes, but any chance i get to brag about my 1998 i take it. :smashpc:

i'm going on 13 years now. valves are still in the same proper spec as when the bike rolled off the dealer floor in 1998. fixing only wear items is bitchin'!

I've got just over 100 hrs on my 08 with only replacing a clutch last week! Still running strong. I would have done the top end a while ago but have been really broke. Good thing is its a Yamaha.

Why? 400 and counting on an 09

Just for piece of mind! I race desert and moto and want my bike to allways be in great condition. Ain't nothing wrong with some preventive maintenance. 400 hrs plus is awesome these bikes really are bullet proof then.

X2, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Mine's not a 2010, but I've got 107.7 hours on it. I'll replace the original piston at 110 hours and replace the cam chain as well. I run the OEM cam chains for about 50 hours.

I haven't had any mechaincal problems with it, and don't expect to have any either.

Just pulled my heard and cylinder for the first time the other day at 270 hours. Just putting in a fresh piston and rings.

Just a tiny bit of wear showing on the intake cam where it sits in one of the journals, and the journals themselves look perfect.

I gave up checking the valves since they never change. Actually I dio go through the motions every 50 hours when I change the timing chain out.
