Tire Selection For Rough Trail Terrain?

1 post in this topic

Hey All,

I have a new 01yz426f and after only a few rides my back tire is trashed! Completely rounded over all the center knobs. I want to get a new tire but don't know where to begin. I ride mainly northern california trails/parks where there are lots of rocks. I want something that will last more than 80 miles before rounding off but still want good hook up. I have read many posts but mainly regarding different track/race tires...

Is the stock tire junk or just a soft compound?

Thanks again!
