Oh boy... now what?

So! After a complete rebuild my bike will not start. :ride: I was very careful to triple check everything with the valves as in timing and the like. I have spark and I cleaned my carb which didn't need it and all it does it back fire every once in awhile. It's easy to kick over and it has me baffled. I'm thinking about a compression test? Logic seems to be defying me.

If it feels like there's no compression then there must be something hanging the valves open. Either a cam timing issue, or the valves are too tight.

I figured it out I think, I saw on here to go .10-.15mm on intake and .15-.20mm on exhaust , but it should be .15-.20 and .25-30 so that is probably it. I hope.
