Wow! I've ridden my 96 CR250 for well over a couple hours and didn't run outta gas. I'm guessing it was about 60 or so miles total...........

if you ride a 125 hard your not going much over an hour...

Never been on a 125 so it must be much different than the 250 on gas cause i've run mine pretty hard on greater than an hour for sure with plenty of gas left.....

A 250 uses more fuel than a 125. A pro can ride one dry in about 40 minutes.

were talking woods riding here.

i just looked at my phone with mytrack from google. 00 and 01 cr250's, doing what i would call pretty hard desert riding, shows a time of 1 hour, 25 mins and 20 seconds (granted, there was probably two 5 min breaks during the trip to re-orientate), and we still had gas left over. id imagine, properly jetted, the 125 can go longer doing woods riding.

I can usualy get about 40 miles of trail riding with stock tank on my cr125

I drove my 03 cr 125 to the track, which is about 9 miles im guessing, at nearly WOT (obviously letting off). When i left i had gas pretty much at the neck of the tank and when i got to the track i hardly lost any. I can drive to the track, ride 3 hours, and drive back without running out of gas.

My 250 gets ~20 mpg in the woods at 10mph.

My 84 cr 125 could ride all day on 1.9 gal. All I ever do was trails in the woods. My favorite thing is climbing so a 125 is a fine choice.
