WRENCHES

Does anyone know of a site that sells good quality T-handle wrenches? I've tried Motion Pro but you must go through a dealer and the closest dealer is 250 mi. away.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Bobs mail order has good quality T handles w/ teflon coating inside the nuts. Sorry, I do not have link on me.

If you have a large local Sears store then check that out, also check the craftsman catalog. I have never tried craftsman t-handles myself but the rest of their tools are well made and I would assume that these would be in the same boat.

Here's a real cheap way to make your own T handles:

take a 3/16" or 1/4" peice of rod and cut it about 3 1/2 inches long. Then, take a 1/4" socket extension and weld the rod on top of it, perpendicular to it. Then, you can put whatever size socket on the end that's for a 1/4" drive. Very simple. Very cheap.

Like this:

when ___ is the 3/16" or 1/4" rod

and ^ is the socket extension

I hope this doesn't sound too confusing.
