2008 450f fuel screw

2 posts in this topic

I just bought this, I need to adjust the mixture..

And I'm having trouble installing it...

Do I already have an idle screw?

The big silver knob to the left of center in your picture is the idle speed screw.

Underneath the carb, in front of the big cap, up in side a tube, is the fuel screw you are about to replace.

Be forwarned, many alloy fuel screws are poorly made (read that 95% of them).

They can require a much smaller pilot jet, the tip can jam and break off in the seat.

I only rec. brass or stainless steel ones.
