KX65 sag setting?

6 posts in this topic

Looking through the threads for a sag setting for a kx 65 to no avail. So my Question is does someone know what about it should be? Generally I've heard your sag should be 1/4 your total suspention. How do you measure the total suspension(with or w/o shock)? This bike has stock suspension w/o a lowering kit or anything. Thx in advance:worthy:

Set it to 2 1/2 to 3 inches of sag with the rider. Measure from the back of the swing arm (or use the axle bolt head) up to the fender. I usually put a piece of tape on the fender and draw a line on it.

First pick up the rear to top out the suspension, measure that distance. The have the rider sit in a neutral position and measure again. The difference should be 2 1/2 to 3 inches.

pm me your email address and i'll send you some more info.
