WR450 Oil Leak - Any Ideas

2 posts in this topic

I have a WR450 2003

I changed the oil last night and in oder to get the oil strainer out, I took the right hand side oil feed pipe off at the engine.

Now I have put it all back together, oil is weeping from where the pipe mounts on to the engine.

I have tried a new O ring but this has made no difference, oil just pisses out.

Any ideas??

I have noticed that there is no O ring round the mounting bolt, but there was not one there when I took it off. Very confused?

Look at a part fiche to make sure there isn't an o ring missing from around that bolt. The first time I changed my oil it started leaking and a missing o ring was the culprit.
