'99 WR400/YZF400 forks

5 posts in this topic

Hi,

Does anybody out there know whether the forks from a '99 WR400 will fit straight onto the same year YZF400?

Trying to find YZF forks here in the UK is proving difficult, however WR ones not so much.

Many thanks for any help.

Nice one, thanks.

I have the old forks, the upper stanchion on one is damaged, so if i just swap the springs over to the WR forks i've got a set of YZF forks?

I believe the damping is a bit different as well...check the P/Ns on the internal parts to verify. Worst case is just swap the uppers and Bob's your Uncle.
