03 450F dripping oil from head plug?

what's the plug on the front of the right side front area of head. a hex screw holds it in? couldn't find it in the manual. drips onto header and makes me MAD!!

The plug blocks off the bore where the manual decompression lever went on the earlier models. It's item 15 in the illustration here:

The hex bolt does not hold it in, but it did hold the decomp shaft in place when the bike had one. You can replace the whole thing with one of these:

No problem. Use a deep 10 mm socket to drive it in. Fits perfectly. :cheers:
