That sucks, I was thinking about buying one of their exhaust systems... Not now.. thats for damn sure.

I just ordered the XRs only competition exhaust for my BRP, after a small issue, I got in ups 2 day (on their dime) to FL. I am very impressed with the quality of the product it looks and performs great.

I ordered from XR's only 3 WEEKS AGO.

I call them up today and the headlight I ordered is on backorder along with my skidplate. Tank is in stock.

I received no contact whatsoever about my parts.

Did they charge your card? Take your money and you get to wait with no idea it wasn't shipped?

I have read this thread, done business with XR’s only, and this is my summary. I SMELL BUSINESS OPORTUNITY. To me this business sounds like it could use some competition. They are back-logged, and can’t support the customers they have. Someone could do it better.

Here's some good feedback... sort of. XRsonly got my spring to me in a reasonable amount of time at a reasonable price.

Here's the deal it seems. If you expect great service via the internet you won't get it. If however, you call them and do it over the phone they seemed just like any other very busy small shop. Probably not enough people, perhaps not the "right" people. Nevertheless, I got my spring today and got the bike back together. Dan Moore of TBTRacing.com (great service!!) serviced the shock and I can't wait to take it for a spin tomorrow.

I just got a part from XRS Only, and I think I've figured it out.

The biggest problem is Payment, and their choice to use PayPal.

I've ordered twice in 4 months, and the hold-up was PayPal, the order getting unfunded, and the wait for me to figure out it was unpaid. I recently got a call from them about this, and I got it paid-but this is an unnecessary step.

XRS ONLY!!-USE CREDIT CARDS ON YOUR SITE-AND YOU WILL HAVE HAPPY CUSTOMERS, AS WELL AS PAID INVOICES SPITTING OUT OF YOUR PRINTER.

YOU ARE LOSING REVENUE FROM A LARGE TARGET MARKET OF YOURS.

ALSO...IF A PART IS NOT IN STOCK ON THE PAID INVOICE...CALL THE CUSTOMER...HE IS VERY UNDERSTANDING...AND APPRECIATES THE FACT THAT YOUR BUSINESS IS STILL AROUND FOR HIS ALL-TIME CLASSIC XR MOTORBIKE.

"Split this forum" had more.

"XR650L- Best Bike in the world " had 509 replies and 26,404 views being #1 for both.

"Show your bike" had only 161 replies but, had 20,691 views being low in replies but, #2 in how many viewed it.

"It appears the XR650R and XR650L are dead " Is #2 on the list of top replies but, third is viewing.

You can hit the tab about replies or viewed and get them in the order you want.

I had already read this thread and decided to give them a try. I called to ask some questions about which big bore kit would be best for me and felt very much like I was wasting their time. When I asked about placing the order right then, I was asked to just go order online since it would be "easier." Easier for me? I don't think so. I definitely felt put off, but decided to place my ~$1000 order with them anyway.

Now let's see how it went:

1. They lost my CC number and called me back the next day to get it again.

2. The order took longer than told.

3. They did not include clearance specs with the oversized piston.

4. They did not include "optional jetting" with the carb.

5. The carb also included a throttle and cable, and they sent me the wrong cable. I called to explain this and had to talk to 6 people to get this straightened out. They sent me another, though I am not sure it is correct either.

Overall the parts look good, though I can get parts from many different places. I went with them since I figured that they would be helpful and knowledgable. They were neither in my experience. It is a bummer too, since they have potential to be a great supplier. Oh well, I guess I'll find another place to shop.

I placed an order with XR's Only last week via their website. I needed the goods delivered to my country at the bottom of the earth (New Zealand). I was very impressed with their service, and just a few days later the goods arrived in great condition and well packaged.

Well done XR's Only, and I would recommend them to anyone.

The next day I got an email saying that the order was pending because they didn't have a red temp dipstick in stock, only a silver one. I replied to the email and said go ahead and swap it for a silver one (giving part numbers and all). Soon after the order was confirmed again.

Today (Tuesday) the order is still confirmed but not shipped. I sent them an email asking what was up, but after reading this thread, I think I'll call.

Good luck. It took 6 emails, 7 phone calls, and 4 months to get the parts I ordered from them. On top of that, the sharkfin/brake carrier was supposed to be anodized red but came brushed aluminum. When I called about other parts of the order and mentioned this, it was offered to replace it with the correct part. But, at that point, I didn't want to take any chances and told them I'd settle for what i got. They have some decent products and evidently some people have good luck. But, I'll never order from them again. :thumbsup:

Glad to know I'm not the only one who has had problems with poor customer service from these clowns! Thanks for the post...maybe we can't stop their business but we can sure as hell try to put a dent in it!
