06' YZ450F Crank Play

I was wondering how I would measure the side to side/ left to right play in the crank rod on my 2006 yz450f? I pulled the top end the other day and it had a little play at the very top of the rod..

do u have an 06 manual? my understanding is between .02-.04 inches? That would be measurement "F" correct?

Can you spell "you"? You could do that much if you want help from someone, eh?

"F" tells you the clearance at the rod bearing. This is to be measured by rocking the rod side to side WITHOUT letting it slide back and forth on the crank pin. And yes, that's .010 - .020". Letting it slide would include the side clearance ("A") and exaggerate the reading.
