2009 headlight on a 2003

Anyone fitted the new shape headlight onto the older WR?

I hear that the two boly holes line up but you have to cable tie the bottom brackets on?

anyone done it? is it bright?

I did the 07+ Headlight upgrade on my 06 which had the same headlight as your 03. I fashioned a bracket from some 1/2"x1" strap with the right size holes drilled in it to give it some lift. Worked well.

PS I'm selling a brand spanking new in wrapping 07+ headlight I ordered and wasn't able to return. PM me for details

Dont cable tie, that's a bodge! Its a bit brighter than the earlier headlight.

Its easy enought, though you'll need to change your headlight connector too.

I aint worried about boging it. Its a dirt bike not a harley!!

And most KTM's etc are only held on with rubber mounts

Just drill and bolt the standard lower mount like in the link, it ain't hard or time consuming.

Don't get me started on KTMs! :p
