2010 DT-1 Air Filter users

8 posts in this topic

was looking for some feedback from users of the DT-1 filters, either just the replacement filters or the cage/filter full system.

How much of a difference did you notice in performance?

Is it worth making the change from stock?

any other issues?

thanks..

Unless your running a pipe, it won't make a lickin difference.

I have the DT1's and I don't have a "pipe." The difference I noticed is much more filter area. It also has the neoprene sealing surface. No performance benefit.

I don't see how a pipe would make such a difference with this filter. Better compared to what? The UNI filter made a difference in comparison to stock because it is different filtering media.

Stock silencer is very restrictive in terms of flow. Upgrading it would allow more flow and thus the air filter (DT1)may show some benefit in performance.
