Anyone here fog the engine?

2 posts in this topic

I don't know if I'll be riding at all until the snow clears, might take it out for a deep snow boot once or twice but that's about it.

Do you guys use fogging oil for the combustion area?

How many of you guys treat the oil so that gears/bearings that are not submerged in oil that sit for 6 months don't form rust? Heard that there was an oil additive that's used for winterizing and keeps protectant on all parts of exposed metal inside the crank case.

We used to fog the engines on street bikes that were winterized & stored at a shop. As for the trans I doubt that would be a problem.
