wr450 exhaust query

hey

i was just reading up on an old thread that i found, didnt want to post on that thread because its old,

but it was about modding the stock wr exhaust .

ive got a 2010 and dont have the money to get an aftermarket exhaust yet, i know which one i want, its a GYTR FULL EXHAUST SYSTEM, and its like $900 dollars over here i think.

But my question is do you have to rejet the bike if i do this mod to the bike.

well my main question is, is this possible with the 2010 and did the people that done it have any problems.

It would be great if i can get some feedback, or even just a get out in the shed and do it.

Your links don't work mate. See the ... in the links where you've copied them from, that's the problem.

About the exhaust , I'd be pretty sure you'd need to get it rejetted. If the new exhaust is flowing enough to change/improve the performance then the air/fuel mixture is going to be changed at least somewhere in the rev range. You certainly should get it (the jetting) checked before using the bike in anger with the new exhaust.
