Help!!!!!

My bike will not shift out of first gear!!!! Two weeks ago I did a race, and right in front of the pits my shift lever got bent, someone in the pits bent it back for me, the bike shifted just fine for the rest of the race. Yesterday I take my bike to go trail riding, I start the bike in nuetral then put it in first take off then I try and put the bike in second and nothing. The bike will not even go back to nuetral, it is just stuck in first.

The shifter will move just fine, but it feels like it is not hitting something it is supposed to.

So, fix it, then.

The problem is most likely in the spring and linkage under the clutch on the right side of the engine.
