i dont know thats why i ask. someone told me that it will be cheaper than the 2010 becaurse the 2010 and 2011 is almost the same. becaurse the 2010 was so expensive to make. thats why it was so much more expensive to buy than the 2009 ? the 2010 cost 10580 $ in denmark :'(

Consumer electronics get faster and cheaper every year. Motorcycles get faster, but when was the last time you saw the price go down? If there are any left, the '10's will be cheaper once the '11 comes out.

They should open a 2010 Yamaha YZF museum. Big tax writeoff. Overhead, flooring, utilities.....and not one person came to visit the exhibits. Admission just happened to be the same price as the bike being viewed.

It was insane when I walked in. Got a 2010 450 for around 7 OTD. They also had 12 r1's, 10 r6's and 2 V-MAX's...and those are some hard to find bikes.

All at a little podunk town dealer ship south of Macon GA.

If their sales aren't better than that, I'm surprised Yamaha even let them floor two V-Max's.

No, the guy was sellin stuff like crazy. Started the year having 10 450s and 24 250f's. I was blown away.

They sold a 450 to me...so they're definately selling them to everyone else.

5500 otd for a 2010 YZ250f

Our dealerships here in Central Pa are buying actioned bikes from mainly Ca. So many franchised dealerships out west are going under, that the bikes are being actioned off from closed dealerships. The big 4 don't want to move them back in inventory. Catch is, you have to buy them without the big 4 floor plan, either cash or bank financed.s Right now shops around here are selling YZ 450(09) for less than 4500. New YZ 450 (10) going for 7099. Their partnered store in State College was selling 07 250F Hondas for 3499 and 07 CRF 150 for 1998. Those are gone though

My shop from Tyrone, called Unlimited, just bought 100 YZF 450 4 wheelers. Also got 100 Rhinos too. I know the Rhinos came from a big shop in SoCal that hasn't closed, but their sales are 1/2 of what they where.

The economy sucks right now and is why people can get sweet deals on bikes. Haven't seen the 2011's yet but you can bet they'll be very close to the 2010's. They always are after major changes like Yamaha has made. ?

its like anything else in life shop around and find the best deal. i got my 2010 in jan for 7650 otd in pa, no sales tax cause i live in ny. shop shop shop

cant believe all the 2010 450's were not sold. Yamaha only sent 1,200 for entire country. My friend got an almost new 2010 yz450f 15 hours for 5,800. He needs a tall seat and called SDG and they said it was not worth them making a seat for such small number of bikes. There is no one making after market seats tall or stock. Times are tuff.

Are you serious? Only 1200 450's were shipped to the states?? How many Honda 450R's were sold in the US?

Was kinda hoping the 250F would get injection too. O'well maybe next year.

Times are tuff. I can't put the link on here, but shops are selling 2010 here for 5999 brand new. I emailed all my freinds.
