swing arm YAMAHA logo removal

whats the best way to remove the yamaha logo on my swing arm as well as make it look a little better?

after 4 years its a little scratched now. Im dropping in new linkage bearings so I might aswell purdey it up a little.

get a heat gun and/or a hair dryer

If you warm it up, it will peel right off. DO NOT melt anything.

clean up the excess glue with a little gasoline on a rag.

I actually checked it out now, it is indeed a sticker.

how can I get rid of some of the light scratches?

the easiest way is to put on a new sticker.

I meant the scratches on the swingarm

goopoff

I blasted mine off with my pressure washer.

Mine was pretty sticky. its off now though.

Thinking of getting the swingarm powder coated... might look ghey though ?
