New 2009 YZ450 Price

I'm looking at a YZ450 as a trail bike. I guess my son is going to take away my KTM 300 XCW. I sense that many of you think the YZ makes a good trail bike, if so let me know.

But what I really need some input into is what a good OTD price for a new 09 would be.

BobZ - I have used my '08 as a woods bike and weekend track riding and it has been perfect. Made some good changes to fine tune it for the riding conditions and it has been absolutely fun and reliable. I just picked up a 2010 and have begin getting it set up.

Ive ridden my 09 in the trails and it did great. I got mine for $5300 OTD.

Funny becuase I've been considering a leftover 09' as well. If I buy one out of state and don't transfer the title to PA (no sales tax that way) I was quoted $5100 and $5300 otd. Now the big dilema, do I really want to go back to kicking for a trail bike???? I'd factor in the cost of getting a Rekluse if I do pull the trigger cause I hate kicking 4 strokes.

Bardwell Yamaha in Brookhaven, Ms had 3 for $4888 OTD a month ago. I got my white one for $5k.

I was quoted around 5500 out the door for a 08 white 450. I'm glad I checked on here. I am also looking to go to the yam 450 from a 08 250xc.

Bardwell had an 08 for $4200 OTD as well.

I called bardwell they said they were sold out of 08 and 09. They did say that they had two 2010's.
